Each day when the students came into my classroom, the first thing they did was go to the tank to make new observations. We got quite attached to our babies. At first they were reluctant to release them, but as our aquarium's carrying capacity was maxed out and fish began to die, they understood the need to release them into a more suitable environment.
We are in the process of putting together a power point presentation of our experience. The goal is to have it complete in time to show to the student body at our end of year awards assembly.
Many thanks to Trout Unlimited to their part in making this possible.
