For the 6th year running, the Boise Valley Fly Fishermen, the Boise Valley Woolly Buggers and the Ted Trueblood Chapter of Trout Unlimited are sponsoring and organizing the annual Treasure Valley Fly Fishing Seminar. This show has been growing each year and expectations for turnout at the Saturday, February 15, 2003 event is anticipated to be about 1,000 people. The show will be held from 9 am to 5 pm at the Grace Jordan Ballroom complex, Student Union Building, Boise State University. The seminar features some of the best fly tiers from Idaho and surrounding areas, a continuing string of program presentations on timely fly fishing topics and destinations including programs tailored specifically for the entry level fly fisher, a large contingent of fly fishing related commercial and industry exhibitors, and conservation organizations. Door prizes will be given out throughout the day. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for youth under 16.
This is a quality show that really helps alleviate those mid winter cabin fever symptoms. Out of town attendees can have a room and continental breakfast for $49.50/night at the nearby University Inn by mentioning the seminar. Call (800) 345-7170 for reservations.
