Live on Youtube !Wednesday, May 11, 2022
6:00 p.m. (MDT)

Wednesday, May 11th, join the Ted Trueblood Chapter of Trout Unlimited as we welcome Rick Williams to discuss Salmon of the Pacific Northwest.

Rick’s presentation will focus on the more than century-long decline of salmon in the Pacific Northwest and the Columbia River, the general failure of management to reverse the decline, and many reasons for that failure.  The roles and impacts of hydrosystem development and over-reliance on hatchery production will be discussed.  Lessons learned will be noted and a new vision and roadmap for salmon restorationdescribed.
