The Ted Trueblood Chapter has many opportunities for people interested in volunteer work to help us achieve our mission for the cold water resources in southwest Idaho.
Habitat Work
TU volunteers do the leg work of habitat improvement of streams and riparian areas when we have events to conduct planting and weeding. We have projects both in the Boise area and occasionally in more distant locations such as work on the South Fork of the Boise River.
Youth
Our chapter has many youth programs and our landing page is here. We have the Woolly Buggers, Trout in the Classroom, and an annual Trout Camp. Volunteers are needed for these valuable programs that pass the conservation message to the next generation.
Veterans
We cooperate with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) conducted through the Veterans Administration and Department of Defense facilities.
